So it's been one hell of a crazy week with the WotLK and it's launch for me and I haven't given this site the love it needs. Here's what I was busy with:

I did reach first 80 warrior leveling with the draft of my leveling guide. A few things have changed since beta but 95%+ of what I had in my draft is still correct for retail. I've got a lot of work ahead completing all the guides I wanted to and starting tomorrow you'll start seeing various guides crop up on the site now that things for me are slowing down again. I am in processing of leveling both an Alliance and Horde DK and I will probably release a quick 58-68 guide as well and then finish all the work I have for Dragonblight and onwards for the other guides.

Currently I'm participating in a server first clear for Naxx and hopefully Malygos in the future. I'm definitely taking notes of all the bosses in Naxx 25 and 10 and a great deal has changed since I did these dungeons in beta, I'm hoping to release more dungeon guides (5, 10 and 25) in the future too. Check back tomorrow! ;)

Despite the Collector's Edition pre-orders selling out very early during the announcement, it looks like Target.com still has them available for pre-order. Whether or not they will end up getting backordered or whether they will be able to fulfill all their pre-orders is anyone's guess but this late in the game, it's the only large retailer still taking pre-orders for the Collector's Edition.

They are still taking preorders as of 5:00AM PST 11/12/08. Good luck!

Yes I'm very much aware my own site is getting owned from traffic. The site is being moved today to another host with higher connection/bandwidth capacity and things should be working smoothly by tomorrow.

For now if you haven't downloaded the WOTLK Client, you can do so via Blizzard's Direct Downloader here (Yes this is the full install/upgrade for Wrath of the Lich King). It weighs in at a hefty 2GB but downloads quickly at high speed.

Thanks to WTBBlue for providing that link. Some clarifications on the Installer. It is for the US release of Wrath of the Lich King. Northrend will still be inaccessible until you provide a WOTLK CD-key and until WOTLK is released at approx 9PM PST on 11/13/2008. You can still play on live realms today after installing.

Today is the patch 3.0! Along with new talents, we also get the brand new profession: Inscription! If you haven't kept up with what Inscription and Glyphs are all about, fear not, we have our Inscription 1-350 Guide that will cover everything you need to know and quickly prepare you for this new profession!

A quick update on the 70-80 Leveling Guides, real life has been extremely busy for me this last week so I didn't get to work on these guides as much as I wanted to. I still intend on completing them and releasing them all online here for free, so keep checking back! I still make progress and post new pages to the guide daily. Currently I am still working on Howling Fjord

Work on the Howling Fjord guide is coming along well. I took a short break to work on the first instance guide, The Nexus. Back to work on the Howling Fjord now ;)

The finishing touches are done for the Borean Tundra guide. The next 3 guides that will be released will be Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra and Dragonblight.

Just a quick update since I haven't posted anything for a little bit, I'm still very much working on the level 70-80 leveling guide (a good 6-10 hours a day). I'll have the Horde Borean Tundra zone guide completed sometime near this weekend and the Alliance one mostly finished as well. Currently I'm midway in Dragonblight Horde side at the moment in terms of what I'm doing and Borean Tundra zone guide is already complete, I'm doing some polish work on it right now and making sure it's well optimized for quick questing and paths etc. The Alliance guides will be released later than the Horde ones but won't lag very far behind.

I've done a quick update on the Death Knight Leveling Guide so that it's current with the current Beta 3.0.2.8970 build as well. Stay tuned!

Edit: Wow, patch 3.0.2.8982 was just released as I posted this, back to work on staying current ;)

Added support for leaving comments on the site. It's very basic, requires no login, going to keep it very easy to use for now. If there's too much spam going on, I'll tighten it up but it will stay open and simple for now.

A very substantial portion of the site's template and structure are now up. I'm sure there's still a lot of tweaking and I'm sure it will still change a bit, but for now I'm happy enough with how it looks to start working fulltime on actual content.

The very first guide I am releasing is a leveling guide for Death Knights. The main guide which I'm still working on will be the Northrend 70-80 guide which is still in it's early stages of writing. Right now, I don't have a solid timeline when these guides will be completed but check back daily because there should be new content added to the guides every single day.
